First Team Debuts

Milestones
Iain Vigurs played his 50th major competitive game for the Club.

Ryan Flynn scored the only goal of the game as Falkirk secured their first win of the season 1-0 at Ross County.

Scott Morrison had the best of the early chances for Ross County, trying his luck with a free-kick from 35 yards which was gathered by Robert Olejnik.

Mark Corcoran`s header from 12 yards was tipped over by Olejnik, while at the other end, Kenny Deuchar saw a similar effort palmed over by Michael McGovern.

The winning goal came in the 36th minute when Flynn found space in the area and slotted the ball into the bottom corner.

Falkirk`s Brian McLean was denied by Michael McGovern after the break, while the keeper was again alert to push away a fierce drive from Kallum Higginbotham with 15 minutes remaining to preserve their lead.
