Darren Barr began his footballing career back in 2002, when he signed for Falkirk. After three years with the Brockville side, he was subsequently sent out on loan to Forfar Athletic, where he made 15 appearances for the Station Park side.
Having made 150 appearances for the Bairns, On 25 January 2010, it was announced that Barr had signed a three year pre-contract with Heart of Midlothian and would complete his move to Edinburgh upon the expiration of his contract with Falkirk at the end of the season.
Made 60 appearances for the Tynecastle club. Joined Kilmarnock during the close season. Made 12 appearances scoring one goal for the Rugby Park Side.
The player has represented Scotland at both Full & B level.
