Branislav Micic joined the Highland club in January 2013 and was initially signed on a 6 month contract with the club.

The Swiss born defender began his football career at Union Royale Namur, where he made 5 appearances during the 2008-09 season. The following season saw the big defender move on to Swiss club FC Le Mont, but in what was a frustrating season for the player, his appearances were restricted due to injury.

This season has seen the former FC Sion defender prove his fitness, following a good pre-season. His Scottish Cup Debut came against Hibernian here at the Global Energy Stadium at the end of November 2013. The player's opening League appearance of the season came in the SPFL encounter against Celtic on the opening day of the season, in a match the SPL Champions secured a narrow victory over the Staggies. Much will be expected of the Swiss defender in the months ahead, as the Staggies strive to progress up the SPFL League table.

Having made just 8 appearances for his previous club, the defender was on the move again and spent three years with FC Sion from 2010, until signing for Ross County in January of this year.

Waiting patiently for his County debut, he finally got the opportunity against St Johnstone , in a Scottish Premier League match at McDiarmid Park on Saturday 21st April. However his debut ended in a nightmare for the Swiss born defender, when after making his debut as a second half substitute, Branislav received a nasty shoulder injury and was forced out of the match. Worse was to follow when the player missed the concluding matches of the season , a season that saw the club finish their opening season in the SPL in fifth spot.

On 31 January 2014, Micic left Ross County by mutual consent.
