Ross County spot kick king Alex Bone cost the visitors a win over the Press and Journal Highland League Huntly at Christie Park.

The County goal grabber was on track to complete a memorable treble, with the goals which had the Dingwall side twice in front.

However, he blotted his copybook in the final minute with a miss from the penalty spot which eventually gifted a spirited Huntly a share of the spoils.

County opened the scoring in 13 minutes when BONE rammed Derek Holmes'clever flick past Huntly keeper Ross Bremner from fully 12 yards.

Huntly hit back on the half hour, Craig RUSSELL cashing in when Brian Irvine was left exposed to clip the ball past Tony Bullock as the County keeper came of his line.

Six minutes later, County were back in front and once again it was Holmes who provided the ammunition for ALEX BONE to power a volley past the helpless Bremner.

But Huntly were in no mood to concede defeat and Graham GREEN tucked Tommy Wilson's feed home from six yards to level.

In the dying seconds with County pushing for the win, Hugh Robertson was scythed down inside the box and the referee pointed to the spot.

But Alex Bone fired the resultant spot kick wide of the target.
